Welcome to my little acre on the Internet.
I love a good book. I love dreary, rainy days. I love college football. I love ice cream after my kids are tucked into bed. I love listening to podcasts. I love buying candles, but often forget to light them. I see stories in the golden fields around us, the dinners I cook and bring to the field, and the grain in my dryer vent.
This isn’t the life I pictured for myself.
I grew up in a small town in Wyoming and planned to become a “city girl” after college. I envisioned a life of high heels, a high-rise apartment, and take-out on every corner. Today, I find myself wearing boots, in a ranch-style home, with take-out over 50 miles away. Most days, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
It’s funny how God has a different plan for us, one we might not have planned for ourselves. Now I’m a farm mom to three and a proud farmer’s wife. We farm and ranch with my husband's family in Central Montana, raising wheat, pulse crops, hay, and black Angus cattle.
